Conditions of Delivery

What this document is not

It is not a licence. It grants no rights, carries no fee, and confers no title. The delivery sign-off described in the Facilitator Training and Fidelity reference is one facilitator's written statement that they watched another deliver this series faithfully. It is not a certification, not an accreditation, and not anything that appears after a name.

No money changes hands. If that ever changes, this document is reviewed by a lawyer before it is used again — a conditions acknowledgement between two volunteers is a different instrument from a commercial agreement, and it should not be asked to be both.

What you are agreeing to

1. The safety frame is read in full at the opening of every session. All four national crisis services, unabridged, not paraphrased, including on the light sessions.

2. The safety and scope content is never removed, reordered or edited. Not for time, not for a host's preference, not because the group has heard it before.

3. The two crisis sessions are prepared for, not improvised. S15 and S17 go directly at suicidal thinking. What this condition asks is that you decide before you open either one how you will hold that room, and that your co-reflection is arranged first. The package recommends ASIST or safeTALK and conditions nothing on holding it.

4. Scope is held. No diagnosis, no treatment planning, no medication, tapering or exercise advice, and no interpretation of anybody's symptoms. Naming what is outside scope and referring on is part of the work rather than a failure of it.

5. The titles are not used. Never counsellor, therapist, clinician, or the words counselling, therapy or treatment about anything delivered — in the room, in writing, or in conversation afterwards.

6. Attribution is preserved. Will Theory and the standardised language are named intellectual property. Facilitate it freely; do not rebrand it, retitle the framework, or present it as your own material.

7. Deck 16, Agency in Recovery, is delivered only under its partnership governance — in partnership with a host recovery organisation, never independently.

8. Co-reflection is arranged before the first session, with a second name in reserve, and used the same day anything happens.

9. Participation stays voluntary throughout. Sharing, pair work, worksheets, the outcome measure and attendance are all optional, and passing is a complete answer.

10. You stop when you should. Your own acute period, a boundary that went, a host asking for something outside scope — the pauses named in Reference/04 §7 are conditions of doing this well, not admissions of failure.

Re-affirmation

This is re-read and re-signed annually, alongside the updated files. A facilitator who has not delivered a session in 12 months repeats stage 3 of the pathway first — not because the material decays, but because the crisis procedure does.
