The workshop series

17 ninety-minute sessions, peer-facilitated, for groups of six to twelve.

How it runs

Free to host. Delivery is currently volunteer. There is no fee to arrange.

Ninety minutesOne session, one tool, every week. Session one runs 105.
Six to twelve peopleBelow six the pair work collapses. Above twelve you cannot watch the room, and watching the room is the job.
In person or onlineBoth work. Online changes the crisis procedure, and the facilitator handbook says how.

One tool per session, and every one of them belongs somewhere on the same loop — which is what makes seventeen sessions a series rather than a list.

THE UNIVERSAL COPING LOOP One loop. Seven stages. Run it whenever you are overwhelmed. 1 NOTICE 2 NAME 3 GROUND 4 NARROW 5 ACT 6 CONNECT 7 RECOVER SELF-REWARD LOOP Name it. Acknowledge the difficulty. Credit the effort. Affirm forward. 1 NOTICE Something has shifted — a body signal, an emotion, a change. 2 NAME Put it into words. “I notice…” or “This is…” 3 GROUND Return to the body. Feet on floor. One slow exhale. 4 NARROW Shrink it to one step. Not the whole thing — the next thing. 5 ACT Take the one step. Do it now. 6 CONNECT Reach out. You regulate faster when not alone. 7 RECOVER Close the loop. Credit the effort. Affirm forward.
The Universal Coping Loop: a seven-stage ring — Notice, Name, Ground, Narrow, Act, Connect, Recover — with the Self-Reward Loop at the centre and a legend.

What to ask for

A single 90-minute session

The easiest place to start. One tool, one room, no commitment beyond the ninety minutes.

The six-session core

The standard offer. Covers the whole framework and sits alongside comparable programmes that run six to eight weeks.

The full seventeen

The complete catalogue, for programmes that want the entire arc. This is what to draw from, not the opening ask.

Who each deck is for

Roughly half are delivered peer-to-peer — shared lived experience — and half as education. A host organisation is entitled to know which before booking, so it is stated here.

CSA Z1003, the national standard for psychological health and safety in the workplace, names thirteen psychosocial factors. This is the individual skills layer under it: not a conformance product, and it certifies nobody against the standard.

The Referral Pitch is not a delivery — it is the conversation before one. It carries the referral form and the scope boundaries agreement.

17 decks in the portfolio — the master pitch, and 16 cut from it for a named audience. Every one of them draws on the 17 sessions above, which are a different seventeen.
