The boundary
In bounds
- Structured, non-clinical education in coping and self-regulation
- Peer-led skills practice
- A shared framework and shared language
- Support applying clinical strategies in daily life
- Signposting to professional services
- Naming when something is out of scope, and referring on
- Facilitating group discussion within agreed limits
Out of bounds
- Diagnosis
- Psychotherapy or counselling
- Treatment planning
- Crisis intervention
- Emergency response
- Advice on medication, benefits, or legal matters
- Anything a clinician is responsible for
This is peer-led skills education delivered alongside clinical care, never in place of it.
What this site collects
Almost nothing. No account, no analytics, no cookies, no tracking, and no health information of any kind — none of that is gathered anywhere on this site.
One page collects an email address: the sign-up for the free Run the Loop course, and only if you ask for it. What is kept, and how to be forgotten.
Not yet built
Named here rather than left to be discovered.
A self-guided online courseplanned
The seventeen sessions as modules you work through alone. The books already do this on paper, and every handout is free to read here, which is why an online version has not been built.
Outcome dataplanned
The measurement instrument is chosen, validated and ready. It is WHO-5, a validated self-efficacy scale, and six items written for this series, handed out at the first session and the last. 0 cohorts have run, so there is nothing to report yet. When there is, it will be reported with its sample size and its design, and it will be pilot data rather than evidence.
Other facilitatorsplanned
The delivery standard is written and published free. It is 15 observable core elements, a five-stage pathway, and an observation checklist. There is no certification, licence or fee anywhere in it. No one has completed the facilitator pathway yet — this series is delivered by the person who wrote it. Any host organisation should be told that plainly, and the facilitators page says it.
